The official trailer for Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios’ Spider-Man: No Way Home is now here, offering fans their first look on the highly anticipated superhero movie, which brings in the long-rumored multiverse to the big screen.

The trailer heavily hinted the involvement of the multiverse with Doctor Strange, as well as some clips of Alfred Molina reprising his role from Spider-Man 2 as Doctor Octopus. Watch the trailer below.

The trailer picked up where the previous movie left off by showing Peter Parker (Tom Holland) as he dealt with the aftermath of his identity being revealed to the whole world. He then approaches Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) for a solution that suggests disrupting the multiverse.

“When we were shooting it, we were all under orders not to talk about it, because it was supposed to be some great big secret,” Molina told Variety earlier this year, but it apparently didn’t turn out that way as pictures of Alfred Molina, Jamie Foxx and Willem Dafoe circulated online and were associated with the movie.

The official trailer premiered during the CinemaCon Big Screen event in Las Vegas where Sony Pictures held a three-hour panel, which also unveiled exclusive looks to the studios’ other titles like Morbius and Uncharted.

While a lot of speculations by fans were solved during the trailer, new details revealed also raise more questions about the film.
